Memorial Day Weekend

We just got back from another fun-filled weekend! We stayed with the Hanson family at their cabin near Detroit Lakes, MN on Saturday and Sunday night. We had such a fun time and I got to do a lot of new and exciting things!

This video is of me laughing my head off at Erika. I've never laughed so hard in my whole life...she is such a riot!!

Here are some pictures of me and my parents on my very first boat ride. The Hansons have a really nice pontoon boat that is so much fun to ride on!
The boat ride was so relaxing that I decided to take a nap. All that boat rocking put me right to sleep...ahhh this is the life!
Eva and Travis Hanson were so much fun to play with this weekend. I really feel like a big boy now that I get to play with the big kids! Travis just woke up from a nap in this picture...but I think he was still sleeping with his eyes open for our entire boat trip!Then...the most fun of all was when I got to go on a swing set for the very first time! I don't know why my parents have been holding out on me...this swing set business is a riot!! Mommy kept pushing me back and forth - it felt like I was flying! We have got to get one of those swing things at our house!

Teeth!

Hi there!
I have some big news...I have teeth! My two bottom middle teeth both popped through this past Saturday. It nearly brought my Mommy to tears because she thinks I'm such a big boy now. I have to be careful with those teeth now...they're sharper than I realized. Just yesterday I was biting my toes like I normally do and I think I bit down a little too hard with my new teeth! It hurt! I'll have to learn to be more careful with my new secret weapons.
Here are some updated pictures of me. Sorry there aren't any shots of my teeth yet...I'm pretty shy at showing them off!
Love, Andrew

Real Food...Yum?

So after the formula scare in February, my parents were very reluctant to allow me any real food. But after my 6 month doctor's appointment last week, my doctor said I was ready to start on some rice cereal (or as Aunt Sara says, Rice Krispies).
It was quite an adventure today! I'm not sure what to do with this cereal stuff. But I know one thing...I like holding the spoon myself! I'm such a big boy now...look out world...here I come!!

Andrew Turns Six Months Old

I know this age milestone isn't as big as my Dad's 30th this weekend...but I think it's a pretty big deal! I turned 6 months old last Thursday. Dad had some fun again taking lots of photos of me on Sunday. I hope you like them!

Feels Like Summer!

Hi Everyone! Well it has been just beautiful in St. Paul, MN the past few days. We've spent a lot of time outside exploring the neighborhood and getting the yard ready for the season. Here's a picture of me outside the front of my house (my daddy was making me laugh!)This weekend, Daddy's family came over for dinner on Saturday so we could celebrate his 30th birthday (which, officially is next Saturday, May 5th). It was fun to see my cousin Julia again and play with her in the backyard!
Here's a picture of Daddy blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. There sure are a lot of candles, aren't there!?!? Happy Birthday Daddy!!

New Skills

Well it's official...I know how to sit up all by myself! Check out my new moves...

Now that I can sit up I am able to play with my parents a lot more easily than I could before...I'm really having a good time! I think I'm soooo cute and cool and I am smiling and laughing all the time.

Here's a picture of me with my Mommy's cousin Todd. He and his wife Kristin came to visit me last weekend all the way from Appleton, Wisconsin. I had such a fun time taking a long walk around my neighborhood with them and going to the Como Zoo & Conservatory (in the rain)!

Easter Fun!

I just got back from a fun-filled weekend! I spent a few days down in Iowa visiting with my Mommy's family for Easter. I was a pretty good car rider, but I made my Mommy & Daddy stop 3 times during a 4 1/2 hour trip (which turned into a 5 1/2 hour trip!) But I couldn't help it - I was hungry and needed to stretch my legs!

On Saturday the Chicago Cubs were playing and Grandpa & I snuggled in to watch a few innings of our first game together. We both had our Cubs gear on - aren't we cute?!?

Here is a picture of my family before we went to church on Easter Sunday. We clean up pretty nice, don't we?? We took this picture outside, but don't be fooled...it was COLD in Iowa this weekend!

The Easter Bunny brought me my very first basket! I got three fun toys and some chocolate (which Mommy and Daddy ate before I had a chance.)

Here is a picture of me with an Easter hang over. It was a fun weekend...but I'm pooped!
