My Week in Grafton, North Dakota

This June I got to spend a really fun week at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Morris's house in Grafton.
My Grandma has a beautiful garden so I wanted lots of pictures in it...

Three generations of Evens men...Grandpa Morris, Daddy & Me.
Grandpa gave me my first push-up pop on a hot summer day. It was delicious! If you're wondering why I'm so clean it's because Grandma kept wiping my face and tummy every time I dripped...she's not big on messes! :-)
When I was in Grafton Grandma took me to the barber shop and for the rest of the week I was sure to tell everyone that asked where I got my hair cut: "Barber shop...Roger cut it."
One of my other favorite things to say right now is where I live, shouting "St. Paul!!" at the top of my lungs. And when asked my name I like to respond with a unrecognizable "Andrew Charles Evens" all slurred together. My mom thinks I'm cuter and cuter every day!

First Train Ride

My Great Aunt Pauli gave us her employee tickets to ride a real live Burlington Northern Steam Engine! It was my first train ride ever and it was so much fun.

Wild Wilderness

What a fun weekend we had when we went to Sarah & Dave's cabin near Brainerd!
I love Sarah & Dave, they are so my fun to play with!

I got to go fishing for the first time - it was so neat. I really like touching the wiggly, slimy fish.
I also loved swimming in their beautiful lake at the beach. The whole time I kept shouting "In the swimming pool!" with a big grin on my face!

I'm going to be a big brother!

In case you haven't heard - I have some great news - I'm going to be a big brother! My mommy is pregnant with another baby and due at the end of October. I am convinced that it's a girl because I'm always telling my mom that the baby in her tummy is my sister. We were all at the doctor's office yesterday and we got to see the baby on the TV - very cool! Daddy doesn't want to know if it's a boy or girl though so we didn't get to find out - what a fun surprise that will be in the Fall! Here are the first pictures of my baby brother or sister...

...this last one is funny...the baby was getting poked and pushed around a lot during the appointment and the last picture they took the baby had its hand on its forehead...we think she/ he was thinking "why all the poking? are we almost done yet? jeez!"
