Happy 4th of July!!

I got to spend my first Independence Day with my Mommy's whole family! Grandma & Grandpa O drove in from Iowa for a long weekend and Aunt Beth was visiting too! We spent the (very hot) afternoon at Fort Snelling being very patriotic in honor of my Uncle Brian (who just got back to the USA after serving in Iraq for 2 years!! Hooray!!)

I loved holding on to this flag all day. But Mommy kept checking on me to make sure I didn't poke an eye out!

Aren't I cute...I'm the old man with the beer belly on the left. I guess all those Budweisers are catching up to me already...

My Daddy took this picture right before the cannons went off. It was a really fun day! Hooray for the USA!

Peas are Gross!!!

This video is from a few months ago...but since I just figured out how to put video on the blog (thanks Shawn!) I thought I would add it. This is Grandma Judy's favorite...

A is for Andrew...and Arboretum

A couple of weeks ago (on June 27th) my Mommy and my Aunt Beth (who is visiting for a few weeks) took me to the MN Landscape Arboretum. It was such a beautiful day!
When we first got there, we had a picnic under the shade of a beautiful crab apple tree. Mommy even shared her water with me...wasn't that nice?

Then we walked around looking at the beautiful flowers, trees and art sculptures. Can you believe they put this A block out just for me to take a picture on??

My Daddy's friend Jesse designed this sculpture, so we were sure to take a picture of it. Isn't it neat? Good job Jesse!
I love the Arboretum...maybe I'll grow up to be a Landscape Architect just like my Daddy someday!!

Pool Rat!

So my Mommy is a little bit behind on my blog...but she's trying her best to get caught up.
These pictures are from about a month ago when we went to the University Club swimming pool for the first time (on June 16th).

What a fun time the pool is!! I had a lot of fun swimming with Mom & Dad - I even have my own float. My favorite thing to do is kick my feet under water. I can't wait for more sunny days at the pool later this summer!
